Reopening of METoA Ginza and Anti-infection Measures

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by a temporary closure in order to prevent the spread of infection following a member of staff being infected by COVID-19. We also appreciate the understanding shown by everybody.

The safety and security of customers and staff are our foremost concern. METoA will reopen on July 21 (Tue.), 14 days after the infected person's last working day plus another week to ensure absolute safety.

Anti-infection measures will be implemented upon the reopening of METoA Ginza, with top priority given to the safety and security of customers and staff.

  • <New Opening Hours>
  • For the foreseeable future, We will change our business hours as follows.
  • Exhibition:11:00-19:00 (normally 11:00-21:00)
  • METoA Cafe & Kitchen: 11:00-22:00 (normally 11:00-23:00)
  • <Anti-infection measures>
  • METoA Ginza has obtained the anti-infection declaration sticker issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan government. The following measures are being implemented in order to prevent further infection and spread of COVID-19, etc.
    Please also note that there are partial restrictions on some of exhibitions.

  • 2.Temperature checks
  • 3.Disinfection of hands and fingers
  • 4.Disinfection of the premises
  • 5.Social distancing to be respected
  • 6.Payments to be placed on tray

*At METoA Cafe & Kitchen, all members of the staff are wearing gloves.

  • <Notice to Visitors >
  • Admission restrictions will be implemented on each floor when crowd congestion is expected on holidays, etc.
    Please be advised that service will be suspended for the elevator inside METoA Ginza when an admission restriction is implemented.
  • ・Please wear a facemask on your visit to METoA.
  • ・We appreciate your cooperation in temperature checks and disinfection of hands and fingers when entering the premises.
  • ・Please respect social distancing and cough etiquette.

*Admission may be refused to anyone who does not feel well or when the premises is crowded.
